CALIBER COMPLAINT:
Submitted: May
2015
Reported By: Ramona
in Waterford, Michigan
Disorganized crime somewhere in the
US
I've been working on a modification with these
people [Caliber Home Loans] for the last year and a half. I submitted full
paperwork no less than three times and finally got some help when I involved
the State of Michigan. I received HAMP funds and a new payment but now not only
are my new payments not being recorded, they're sending foreclosure notices
based on not receiving the amount of the old payment. There's ONE 800 number that
rings at a call center but you can't get past them to get any real help. Is
this a scam company? Does anybody know what's going on here?

CONSULTING ADVICE:
Hi Ramona,
I have had many dealings with Caliber Home Loans
and can completely validate your complaints. I commend you for contacting the
state of Michigan, as that is an excellent and important step in asserting your
consumer rights.
You have so many consumer rights and consumer
protections under the FDCPA and the CFPB and the FTC and RESPA with regard to
your complaint and it only takes a few minutes to submit the complaints online
to the CFPB and FTC for an immediate response and action.
In fact, we covered your complaint today on our
radio show The Daily Complaint
and provided a pathway for success to include how to contact the CFPB - thank
you for posting your complaint online via the Ripoff Report so that others will
have the opportunity to learn from your experiences in dealing with Caliber
Home Loans. There are firm rules in place with regard to the posting of your
payments during the MHA HAMP trial period plan and also to moving forward with
foreclosure but again, you must know your rights in order to exercise your
rights.
In addition to submitting complaints to the CFPB,
I would suggest preparing a QWR for Caliber Home Loans – you can learn how
through the CFPB by typing in QWR in their search bar. They are required to
acknowledge the QWR per RESPA in 5 business days and answer it in 30 business
days or you do have recourse, so listen to us address your complaint on The Daily Complaint today and
contact us if you need further information on how to not only attack your
problem but to get the solutions that you are seeking. You can hold Caliber
Home Loans accountable for their actions!
Good luck!
Respectfully,
Dana Shafman

I called & left a message a little over a month ago with you when I saw information you posted on another complaint forum regarding Caliber. I am trying to find where to send a QWR for them, especially since I've just read this http://www.usfn.org/AM/Template.cfm?Section=USFN_E_Update&Template=/CM/HTMLDisplay.cfm&ContentID=16355 - can you advise on that?
ReplyDeleteHello Lorri,
DeleteI apologize that your inquiry over a month ago was overlooked as I do not recall it coming through my desk but I am happy to provide you with the requested information where you can direct your QWR to Caliber Home Loans. Caliber Home Loans has a loss mitigation fax and the fax number to it is (405) 608-2011 or you can always direct your correspondence to their loan modification email at CaliberMods@CaliberHomeLoans.com. Any Caliber Home Loans representative should be able to direct you to any additional emails or fax numbers appropriate to your situation as I am unaware of the exact reason for the QWR.
Additionally, I would suggest uploading your QWR to accompany a complaint to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and you can access the CFPB at ConsumerFinance.gov if you are having issues with Caliber Home Loans as the CFPB will require a response from Caliber Home Loans in an expeditious manner and will enable you to dispute any responses that are inaccurate or do not address the issues set forth in your QWR.
I am happy to speak with you at your convenience regarding your issue and even make a conference call with you to Caliber Home Loans if you'd like as a courtesy to address your issue over the phone in an effort to outline options and next steps moving forward. Just remember, you always have options and consumer rights so never give up until you are satisfied with the outcome.
Have a wonderful day, good luck and please contact me directly for further information!
Kind regards,
Dana Shafman

ReplyDeleteHi everyone, I saw comments from people who had already got their loan from Anderson Loan Finance. Honestly, I thought it was a scam, and then I decided to make a request based on their recommendations. A few days ago, I confirmed in my personal bank account amounting to $15,000 dollars which I applied for. This is really a good news and I am so very happy that I advise all those who need a real loan and who are sure to reimburse to apply through their email (text or call) +1 719 629 0982. There are sincere loan lenders! They are capable to lend you a loan. Contact Mr Anderson E-mail: andersonraymondloanfinance@gmail.com
